Terms of Service

These are the rules for using this site and the conditions under which a tattoo is booked and made. By sending an inquiry, you accept them.

01

What this site is

A portfolio and an inquiry form. Sending the form does not book a session or confirm anything — it's a request that Xavi reads and answers personally.

02

Accepting or declining a project

Xavi may decline any project without being required to explain why. He may also propose changes to your idea so it works on the body: the final design is his artistic decision.

Exact copies of another artist's work are not made.

03

Age

Only people 18 and over are tattooed — no exceptions, and no parental consent workaround. Government-issued ID may be requested on the day. Misstating your age voids the appointment and the deposit.

04

Deposit

A deposit is required to hold a date. The amount is given to you when scheduling and is credited toward the final price of the piece.

The deposit is non-refundable. It covers design time and the slot reserved for you, which can no longer be offered to anyone else.

You may move your appointment once without losing the deposit, provided you give at least 72 hours' notice. With less notice, or if you don't show up, the deposit is forfeited and a new one is required to reschedule.

If Xavi cancels or moves the appointment, your deposit is kept in full or refunded — your choice.

05

On the day

Come rested, fed, and hydrated. Nobody is tattooed under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Tell us before the session about any medical condition, allergy, ongoing treatment, pregnancy, or blood thinners. Staying quiet about it puts both your health and the result at risk.

Final price depends on size, placement, and actual working time. If the session runs long or a second one is needed, you're told before we start.

06

Healing and touch-ups

A tattoo is a wound: how it closes depends largely on your aftercare. Follow the instructions you're given.

Touch-ups for normal healing are assessed case by case. Damage from ignoring aftercare, sun exposure, swimming, or picking at the area is not covered as a free touch-up.

Ink reads differently on different skin tones and ages over the years. An identical match to the reference is not guaranteed.

07

Images and rights

The design is Xavi's original work and the rights to the drawing remain his. You get the tattoo; you do not acquire a license to reproduce or commercialize the design.

Photos of the finished work are taken for the portfolio and social media. If you'd rather not appear, say so before the session and it's respected.

By uploading reference photos you confirm you have the right to share them.

08

Liability

The studio works with sterile, single-use materials and follows the health protocols required by the State of New York. Even so, getting tattooed carries the risks inherent to any procedure on the skin.

To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to the amount paid for the work. The content on this site is informational and is not a substitute for medical advice.

09

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States.
